When
you’re traveling and need money, your credit union may be just around the
corner with the . .
.
Correspondent Credit Union Program
That's right. You can give your members access to their funds in 42 states at about 750 credit union offices and ATMs, because
you're part of a convenient network of credit unions that makes up the Information Technologies Credit Union Association's Correspondent Credit Union Program.
When your members are out of town and need funds, they
can visit the nearest credit union office listed in this brochure. Request a share withdrawal or loan advance of at least $50 from your credit union account. (Requests are subject to telephone approval and/or availability of open-end credit at your
credit union. There may be a service charge of up to $5 at the discretion of the issuing credit union.) The issuing credit union will check your
member's identification and other information for verification purposes. A check will be prepared on the spot. And, in a matter of minutes,
your member will have the money they need.
Or, if they prefer, they can use one of the credit union ATMs, indicated by a star, in this brochure. None of these credit unions will impose a surcharge on
the transaction.
All you need to do is remind your members to take along these important items when
traveling: their credit union account number(s); identification such as a driver's license; your
credit union's office hours; and, of course, a copy
of the brochure.
Isn't it nice to know your members have connections for money at hundreds of credit union offices and ATMs coast to coast?
